Boston MedFlight continues to invest in safety with purchase of ASU’s E3 Night Vision Goggles - Vertical Mag

Boston MedFlight (BMF), a nonprofit critical care transport service, has announced the purchase of the evolutionary E3 Night Vision Goggles (NVGs) from Aviation Specialties Unlimited, Inc. (ASU).

This investment is part of Boston MedFlight’s ongoing commitment to improving the safety and well-being of its pilots and clinical team while providing top-level care for critically ill or injured patients.

In addition to weight savings, the E3 NVGs provide significant safety enhancement for night helicopter operations.

The ability for the pilot to see obstacles and assure ground clearance, even on the darkest night, makes this night vision technology a lifesaver. The white-phosphor night vision image intensifier technology in E3 NVGs reduces eye strain and minimizes blooming or shadowing from ground lights.

E3 NVGs help mitigate fatigue and potential long-term injury for operators, particularly in demanding conditions.
